THE DEAD DAISIES Recruit Former JOURNEY Drummer Deen Castronovo

American rock ’n’ roll supergroup The Dead Daisies have recruited Revolution Saints and former Journey drummer Deen Castronovo, confirming this development on November 4th, 2017.
The band issued the following statement: “We are thrilled to announce that Deen Castronovo is joining The Dead Daisies! He is here in Nashville with us where we are beginning the recording of the new album today. We’d like to thank Brian Tichy who has decided to pursue other projects next year. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours. We cannot wait for you guys to hear this new album we are working on! It will be a real bone-shaker!!”
Deen Castronovo commented: “Beyond excited to be a part of such a great group of musicians and friends!! Thank you Dead Daisies!”
The Dead Daisies’ line-up is as follows:
John Corabi (vocals, ex-Mötley Crüe / ex-Ratt)
Doug Aldrich (lead guitar, Revolution Saints / ex-Whitesnake / ex-Dio)
David Lowy (rhythm guitar)
Marco Mendoza (bass, ex-Thin Lizzy / ex-Whitesnake)
Deen Castronovo (drums, Revolution Saints / ex-Journey / ex-Bad English)
Third studio record Make Some Noise was released in August 2016 via Spitfire / SPV.
