THE DEAD DAISIES Release Fifth Studio Album ‘Holy Ground’
January 22nd, 2021

International rock ’n’ roll supergroup The Dead Daisies issued fifth full-length studio album Holy Ground on January 22nd, 2021.

Holy Ground is the band’s first album to feature Glenn Hughes (vocals and bass), who joined the group in 2019 to replace singer John Corabi (ex-Mötley Crüe / ex-Ratt) and bassist Marco Mendoza (ex-Thin Lizzy / ex-Whitesnake).

Glenn Hughes commented: “From the opening track, ‘Holy Ground’, we were building a strong foundation. Each song has its own theme, full of drama, emotion and groove, all the way through to final track. We gave it our all, focused, and passionate. Take this ride with us, maybe you’ll find yourself in the lyrics.”

Guitarist Doug Aldrich added: “Holy Ground makes me happy to listen to now that it’s done and we’ve had time away. It’s heavy, groovy and is a fresh start for the band. It has the guitars that you expect I guess, but a new direction lyrically from Glenn. His lyrics are deep and leave room for imagination.”

Holy Ground was recorded with producer Ben Grosse at Studios La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy de Provence region of Southern France.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’
02. ‘Like No Other (Bassline)’
03. ‘Come Alive’
04. ‘Bustle And Flow’
05. ‘My Fate’
06. ‘Chosen And Justified’
07. ‘Saving Grace’
08. ‘Unspoken’
09. ‘30 Days In The Hole’
10. ‘Righteous Days’
11. ‘Far Away’

The Dead Daisies’ line-up was as follows:

Glenn Hughes (vocals and bass, Black Country Communion / ex-Trapeze / ex-Deep Purple)
Doug Aldrich (lead guitar, Revolution Saints / ex-Whitesnake / ex-Dio)
David Lowy (rhythm guitar)

A music video was filmed for the track ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’, while animated music videos were released for the songs ‘Bustle And Flow’ and ‘Like No Other’.
