ANVIL Release Music Video For ‘Hope In Hell’

Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based heavy metal group Anvil have released a music video for the title track from 15th studio full-length album Hope In Hell, the clip created by Swedish director Rene U Valdes of Greenworks Productions. The video can be viewed below.

Anvil issued Hope In Hell on May 24th, 2013 in Germany through SPV / Steamhammer. The label scheduled general European release for the 27th, with North American release taking place on the 28th.

As was the case with previous effort Juggernaut Of Justice, the outing was produced by Bob Marlette at NRG Recording studios in North Hollywood, California, with mastering duties being handled by Maor Appelbaum.

Hope In Hell was made available in the following formats; jewelcase CD, limited edition digipack including two bonus tracks, double gatefold coloured vinyl LP, and digital download.

A CD release concert for Hope In Hell was held at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York on May 30th, 2013. In its first week of release, the platter sold a little under 800 copies in the United States.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Badass Rock N Roll’ and ‘Eat Your Words’.

Hope In Hell was the only Anvil outing to feature Sal Italiano on bass, who was subsequently replaced by Chris Robertson.

14th studio record Juggernaut Of Justice was released in May 2011.
