AIRBOURNE Pay Tribute To MOTÖRHEAD’s Lemmy With ‘It’s All For Rock ‘N’ Roll’ Music Video
February 27th, 2017

Melbourne, Australia-based hard rock group Airbourne have filmed a music video for the track ‘It’s All For Rock ‘N’ Roll’, which can be viewed below.

The track in question was authored as a tribute to late Motörhead frontman Lemmy, the band having shared the stage with Motörhead on numerous occasions through their decade-plus career – in both Europe and Ausralia. Lemmy made a guest appearance as a truck driver in the music video for the title track to June 2007 debut platter Runnin’ Wild. Motörhead’s lighting rig – originally made following the issue of October 1979 effort Bomber – was loaned for the clip for ‘It’s All For Rock ‘N’ Roll’.

Airbourne issued fourth full-length studio album Breakin’ Outta Hell on September 23rd, 2016 through Spinefarm Records.

The outing was produced by Bob Marlette, who previously produced June 2007’s Runnin’ Wild. Engineering and mixing duties fell to Mike Fraser.
