SOILWORK Issue Tenth Studio Album ‘The Ride Majestic’
August 28th, 2015

Helsingborg, Sweden-based melodic death metal group Soilwork issued tenth full-length studio album The Ride Majestic on August 28th, 2015 through Nuclear Blast Records.

The Ride Majestic was recorded by David Castillo at Studio Gröndal, and was produced and mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden. Cover artwork duties fell to Róbert Borbás.

Soilwork’s recording line-up was as follows;

Björn “Speed” Strid (vocals)
Sylvain Coudret (guitar and bass)
David Andersson (guitar and bass)
Dirk Verbeuren (drums)
Sven Karlsson (keyboards)

In preparation for the album’s release, Soilwork created a two-part mini-documentary inviting fans and newcomers alike to take an inside look at the band’s history.

In its first week of release, The Ride Majestic charted in the following countries; Finland (#12), Sweden (#22), Germany (#30), Austria (#37), Australia (#45), Switzerland (#49), Canada (#55), and France (#107).

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Enemies In Fidelity’ and ‘Death In General’, which can be viewed below. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the title track.

Ninth studio record The Living Infinite was released in March 2013.
