SABATON Issue Animated Story Video For ‘Lady Of The Dark’ Track

Falun, Sweden-based power metal band Sabaton have released an official animated story video for the track ‘Lady Of The Dark’, which can be viewed below.

Regarding the clip, the band stated: “This is the story of Milunka Savić that inspired our song ‘Lady Of The Dark’. Milunka Savić was a Serbian woman who took her brother’s place in the army. Partly disguised as a man, she would eventually be among the most decorated soldiers of World War I!”

Sabaton issued tenth full-length studio album The War To End All Wars on March 4th, 2022 through Nuclear Blast Records.

The War To End All Wars is a concept album that dives deep into previously unexplored atrocities, miracles and events tied to the early 20th century’s World War I.

The outing was recorded, mixed and mastered by long term producer and collaborator Jonas Kjellgren at Black Lounge studios in Sweden.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Soldier Of Heaven’, ‘The Unkillable Soldier’ and ‘Race To The Sea’, while an animated video was issued for ‘Stormtroopers’. Also, a music video and separate animated story video was released for the song ‘Christmas Truce’. In addition, official lyric videos were created for all 11 album tracks – ‘Sarajevo’, ‘Stormtroopers’, ‘Dreadnought’, ‘The Unkillable Soldier’, ‘Soldier Of Heaven’, ‘Hellfighters’, ‘Race To The Sea’, ‘Lady Of The Dark’, ‘The Valley Of Death’, ‘Christmas Truce’ and ‘Versailles’. All 17 clips can also be viewed below.

Ninth studio record The Great War was released in July 2019 via Nuclear Blast.
