PARADISE LOST To Play One-Off Home Town Show To Celebrate Band’s 30th Anniversary
May 2nd, 2018

West Yorkshire, England-based Gothic metal band Paradise Lost will play a one-off home town show at The Lantern in Halifax, England on September 22nd, 2018 to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

Paradise Lost had their first ever rehearsal at Studio X in Halifax on March 26th, 1988, and now 30 years later will take things straight back to the city where it all began with this special intimate concert at the 150 capacity venue.

Vocalist Nick Holmes comments: “Surprisingly, we have never ever played our home town of Halifax, so as it’s the band’s 30th year, we thought it would be a good idea to do a one-off special intimate show in the band’s birth place, and in a relevantly new venue, where we would probably play if we were starting out again today!

“We started out in West Yorkshire and so it makes sense to celebrate such an important milestone back here.”

Tickets (limited to two per person) go on sale at 10am local time this Friday, May 4th here, as well as over the bar at The Lantern from 3pm on the same day.

The band will be donating all profits from the show to Overgate Hospice in Halifax.

Paradise Lost’s line-up is as follows:

Nick Holmes (vocals)
Greg Mackintosh (lead guitar)
Aaron Aedy (rhythm guitar)
Steve Edmondson (bass)
Waltteri Väyrynen (drums)

Paradise Lost issued 15th full-length studio album Medusa in September 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records.
