OVERKILL Issue ‘Second Son’ Performance Video From ‘Live In Overhausen’ DVD / Blu-Ray

New Jersey-based thrash metal group Overkill have released a live performance video for the track ‘Second Son’. Taken from the band’s forthcoming DVD / Blu-Ray Live In Overhausen, the clip can be viewed below.

Overkill issue Live In Overhausen DVD / Blu-Ray on May 18th, 2018 through Nuclear Blast Records.

The outing consists of a live performance recorded on April 16th, 2016 at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany, marking the 25th anniversary of Horrorscope (September 1991) and the 30th anniversary of Feel The Fire (October 1985).

A stand-in drummer was utilized in the form of Overkill’s soundman Eddy Garcia, who is additionally a member of El Paso, Texas-based groove metal outfit Pissing Razors. Then drummer Ron Lipnicki was forced to stay home due to undisclosed family issues.

Overkill frontman Bobby ‘Blitz’ Ellsworth commented: “From the stage to your eyes and ears! Live In Overhausen, celebrating Feel The Fire and Horrorscope in one filmed / recorded concert in Germany, from 2016. A rare two-hour look at what has transpired over three decades in one of the world’s hotbeds of metal. Hang on to your hats, kids, it’s going to be a ‘thrashy-ride’!”
