MARIANAS REST Premiere ‘The Weight’ Music Video

Kotka, Finland-based melodic death / doom metal band Marianas Rest have filmed a music video for the track ‘The Weight’, which can be viewed below.
Marianas Rest issued third full-length studio album Fata Morgana on March 12th, 2021 through Napalm Records.
Regarding the album, the band stated: “Fata Morgana is a voyage into isolation. A passage to a place where minds get distorted by the cold. The name ‘Fata Morgana’ comes from a mirage caused by extreme cold. On this record, we use it to tell that the narrator sees the world distorted. He can no longer see things that are beautiful and that is one of the reasons he makes bad judgments. Maybe he was always like that. Who knows.”
Fata Morgana was produced by Teemu Aalto and Marianas Rest, recorded and mixed by Teemu Aalto at Teemu Aalto Music Productions, and mastered by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers. Making guest appearances are celloist Timo Virkkala, and backing vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft (ex-Cradle Of Filth).
