JAMES DURBIN Premieres ‘The Beast Awakens’ Title Track
February 12th, 2021

Santa Cruz, California-based metal vocalist James Durbin issued fourth solo full-length studio album The Beast Awakens on February 12th, 2021 through Frontiers Music Srl, his first under the moniker Durbin.

The title track can be accessed below.

Entirely written by Durbin, The Beast Awakens was recorded remotely due to Covid restrictions, with only Durbin himself and producer Ellison Locke occupying the studio.

James Durbin commented: “The fact that the album sounds the way it does, with the way it was recorded, is a testament to the passion of everyone involved. I am very grateful for all the love and care that was given to my songs and I can’t wait to unleash my metal upon the world. 2020 has been such a strange year for all of us. Coincidentally, the restrictions happened just as I had begun writing for the album. It really forced me to write by myself and not rely on others.”
