IVORY TOWER Unveil Music Video For ‘Passing’ Track; Part Ways With Vocalist Dirk Meyer

Hamburg, Germany-based progressive metal band Ivory Tower have released a music video for the track ‘Passing’, which can be viewed below.

Ivory Tower have also announced the departure of vocalist Dirk Meyer. The band issued the following statement: “Unfortunately we had to decide as a band to continue without singer Dirk from now. A decision that was not an easy one and took a lot of time. We have done countless gigs together in the last seven years, released what we believe to be the best Ivory Tower album, Stronger, had loads of fun together and achieved a lot of good things in general. We all wish Dirk the best and expressly emphasize to go apart without quarrel and resentment. Rock on Brother!”

Ivory Tower issued fifth full-length studio album Stronger on August 23rd, 2019 through Massacre Records.

The outing was mixed by guitarist Sven Böge at Ivory Tower Studio in Kiel, Germany, and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden.

Stronger marks the first Ivory Tower album to feature vocalist Dirk Meyer, who replaced founding member André Fischer in 2013.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘End Transmission’, ‘Slave’, ‘The Offer’, ‘Life Will Fade’ and ‘One Day’. In addition, an official live performance video was released for the song ‘Loser’. All six clips can also be viewed below.

Fourth studio record IV was released in October 2011 via Dust On The Tracks.
