Richmond, Virginia-based metal group Gwar and Connecticut-based hardcore band Hatebreed tour the United States in October 2018 as part of a co-headlining tour package named Gore, Core, Metal And More. Supporting are Troy, Ohio-based metalcore ensemble Miss May I and Ohio-based thrash metal / hardcore assortment Ringworm.

Gwar guitarist Brent ‘Pustulus Maximus’ Purgason commented: “This is the tour you can’t afford to miss. We are bringing you the heaviest in hardcore and the most brutal of gore! We are thrilled to be slaying the nation alongside our brothers in Hatebreed.”

“Humans, come, witness the eviscerating, ear splitting majesty and power of Gwar and Hatebreed!,” added vocalist Michael ‘The Berserker Blothar’ Bishop. “Yes, demonstrate your ceaseless dedication to heavy fucking metal in the Pit of Death. There is a very good chance you won’t survive!”

“Autumn is a lovely time of year to team up with Gwar and crush every city in our path. There will be moshpits, blood, carnage, and chaos,” said Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta.

Gwar’s 14th studio record The Blood Of Gods was released in October 2017 via Metal Blade Records, while seventh Hatebreed full-length The Concrete Professional was issued in May 2016 through Nuclear Blast.
