GREEN CARNATION Release Sixth Studio Album ‘Leaves Of Yesteryear’
May 8th, 2020

Kristiansand, Norway-based progressive metal band Green Carnation issued sixth full-length studio album Leaves Of Yesteryear on May 8th, 2020 through Season Of Mist.

The album can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.

Leaves Of Yesteryear was recorded with producer Endre Kirkesola at Dub Studio in Oslo, Norway.

Cover artwork was created by Niklas Sundin.

Vocalist Kjetil Nordhus commented: “The cover contains elements from the lyrics on the album, affected by the music and expressed through the cover artist Niklas Sundin’s pencil. Niklas put a lot of effort into going deep into this album, and came up with a few different sketches. We immediately fell for this one. It is rich in detail, is eye catching and of course has Niklas’ signature, which we very fond of.”

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘Leaves Of Yesteryear’
02. ‘Sentinels’
03. ‘My Dark Reflections Of Life And Death’
04. ‘Hounds’
05. ‘Solitude’

Green Carnation’s line-up is as follows:

Kjetil Nordhus (vocals)
Tchort (guitar)
Bjørn Harstad (guitar)
Stein Roger Sordal (bass)
Jonathan Alejandro Perez (drums)
Kenneth Silden (keyboards)

Created by Costin Chioreanu (Twilight 13 Media), an animated music video was released for the title track, while an official lyric video was issued for the song ‘Sentinels’. Both clips can also be viewed below.

Fifth studio record Acoustic Verses was released in January 2006.
