DEATH ANGEL Release Seventh Album ‘The Dream Calls For Blood’
October 11th, 2013

San Francisco, California-based thrash metal group Death Angel issued seventh full-length album The Dream Calls For Blood in Europe (excluding the United Kingdom) on October 11th, 2013 through Nuclear Blast Records. The label also scheduled release in the United Kingdom on October 14th, and subsequently in North America on October 15th.

The outing was cut at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida, with Jason Suecof handling production duties. Cover artwork duties were overseen by Brent Elliott White.

The album was made available in both a jewelcase and a digipak edition. The Dream Calls For Blood’s digipak edition included a bonus DVD chronicling the making of the record, and a cover version of ‘Heaven And Hell’.

Written by Black Sabbath, its original rendition was featured on the April 1980 album of the same name.

In its first week of release, The Dream Calls For Blood sold roughly 5,400 copies in the United States, landing at position 72 on The Billboard 200.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Left For Dead’ and ‘The Dream Calls For Blood’.
