AVENGED SEVENFOLD Release Animated Music Video For ‘Mattel’ Track

Huntington Beach, California-based metal band Avenged Sevenfold have released an official animated music video for the track ‘Mattel’. Directed by Zoe Katz, the clip can be viewed below.

Avenged Sevenfold issued eighth full-length studio album Life Is But A Dream… on June 2nd, 2023 through Warner Music.

Written and recorded over the span of four years, Life Is But A Dream… was inspired by the writing and philosophy of Albert Camus. Accordingly, the lyrics are rooted in existentialism and absurdism.

Co-production was handled by the group alongside Joe Barresi, while Andy Wallace took care of mixing duties once again.

Cover artwork was designed by Wes Lang.

A stop motion music video was created for the track ‘Nobody’. In addition, a 360° VR music video was released for the song ‘We Love You’. Both clips can also be viewed below.

Seventh studio record The Stage was released in October 2016 via Capitol Records.
