APOCALYPSE ORCHESTRA Unveil Music Video For ‘Theatre Of War’ Track
November 24th, 2017

Gävle, Sweden-based medieval folk / doom metal band Apocalypse Orchestra have filmed a music video for an extended version of the track ‘Theatre Of War’, which can be viewed below.

The band commented: “War. The ultimate madness of the human race. Few things have shaped history as much. Imagine the horror of the peasant soldier, forced by a callous sovereign to march into battle. Bodies and limbs of those fallen strewn on the ground, a veritable feast for the carrion birds circling above. The survivors forever mentally scarred. A rain starts to fall. There is no glory in war.”

Apocalypse Orchestra issued their debut full-length studio album The End Is Nigh on May 12th, 2017 through Despotz Records.

The End Is Nigh was recorded during the second half of 2016, with the drums tracked at Studio Overlook by William Blackmon, while all other instruments were recorded at Studio Bordun by Erik Larsson and Mikael Lindström. The outing was mixed by Per Nilsson at Studio Kabyss, and mastered by Fredrik Groth at Studio Flåklypa.
