Hailing from Richmond, Virginia is grinding death metal outfit Disrotter and Restless Death is their debut EP. It consists of four songs that do exactly what it says on the coffin lid – straight up grindcore and death metal marrying with barked vocal atrocities and high levels of no frills grit.

This is a definite improvement on the band’s 2020 Plague demo as the trio vomits out some decent rhythmic hammering as showcased with ‘Thriving In Decay’ and the choppy massacre of ‘The Retched End’. The band channels Terrorizer, Repulsion and that sort of mucky mayhem, particularly with ‘Quietus, Grotesque And Displayed’.

There is nothing more to say really, especially as this release only runs for nine minutes, but if you like short grinding horror then jump in.
