DISMORFIA
Eclosion Repugnante (2024)
|
Peruvian perversity abounds with the latest demo from unhinged death-grind band Dismorfia. I was a big fan of the band’s Immortal Echoes From The Unknown EP which emerged in June 2023, so it’s good to see they are back with another demo, this being their fourth in as many years.
This is a short affair at seven minutes and only offers two tracks, ‘Orgasmo Macabro’ and ‘Consequencias de Actos Impuros’, both of which sound like a pack of rabid Sasquatch strangling victims in a bathtub. There are flashes of early Napalm Death fused with grinding horror, you know the score; indecipherable gruff yet graphic gurgles and hyper blasts that marry to result in a cacophony which sounds like someone has blocked the toilet with their innards. Thankfully there are no pig squeal vocals to contend with here, and if you don’t know Dismorfia but like death-grind then get your brain splattered by this and their other releases.
The Eclosion Repugnante demo is available through Gurgling Gore and can be purchased here.
