WEREWOLVES Unveil Music Video For New Track ‘Destroyer Of Worlds’
July 12th, 2023

Australian death metal band Werewolves have released filmed a music video for the track ‘Destroyer Of Worlds’, which can be viewed below.

Werewolves issue fourth full-length studio album My Enemies Look And Sound Like Me on August 11th, 2023 through Prosthetic Records.

“Here it finally is, the recording that will cement our place in the technical death metal world as some of the greatest soloists and most thought-provoking lyricists working in music today,” commented frontman Sam Bean. “Our ability to shape raw art from ethereal nuance is second only to our famously slow craftmanship.”

“Of course I’m fucking kidding,” he continued. “This album is as idiotic as the rest, if not more. CAVEMAN RIFFS. Blasting. Screaming. Bowing to a shrine with pictures of Mortician, Marduk, and Angelcorpse. This isn’t going to be the album that brings people together and catalyses world peace. Apparently it has greater emotional reach than our earlier work but we haven’t noticed that ourselves, we’re morons. I can confirm that there is more swearing on this album than all the others, it’s positively Australian-esque.”

Mixing and mastering was handled by Psycroptic guitarist Joe Haley, once again, brother and Psycroptic bandmate of Dave Haley.

Cover artwork was designed by Mitchell Nolte, once again.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘Under The Ground’
02. ‘My Enemies Look And Sound Like Me’
03. ‘Bring To Me The Kill’
04. ‘Brace For Impact’
05. ‘Destroyer Of Worlds’
06. ‘Neanderhell’
07. ‘I Hate Therefore I Am’
08. ‘I Knew Nothing Then And I Know Less Now’
09. ‘Do Not Hold Me Back’

Werewolves’ line-up is as follows:

Sam Bean (vocals and bass, The Antichrist Imperium / The Berzerker)
Matt Wilcock (guitars, The Antichrist Imperium / The Berzerker / Abramelin / ex-Akercocke)
Dave Haley (drums, Psycroptic / Abramelin / Ruins / King / Blood Duster / ex-Pestilence)

A music video was filmed for the track ‘Under The Ground’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the title track. Both clips can also be viewed below.

Third studio record From The Cave To The Grave was released in June 2022 via Prosthetic Records.
