VUUR Make New Song ‘Freedom – Rio’ Available For Streaming

Dutch progressive metal group Vuur have made the track ‘Freedom – Rio’ available for streaming through YouTube, which can be accessed below.

Vuur issue their debut full-length studio album In This Moment We Are free – Cities on October 20th, 2017 through InsideOut Music.

Audio snippets of each respective track can be streamed in the teaser below.

The outing’s lyrical content is inspired by the many cities vocalist Anneke Van Giersbergen has visited around the world while being on the road.

The track ‘Days Go By – London’ deals with The Great Fire of 1666, the lyrics written from the perspective of the element of fire, and can be streamed in its entirety below.

In This Moment We Are free – Cities was produced by Joost van den Broek, who was also involved in the writing process. Other co-writing partners are Mark Holcomb (Periphery), Esa Holopainen (Amorphis), Daniel Cardoso (Anathema), and both of Vuur’s guitar players, Jord Otto and Ferry Duijsens.
