THE CROWN Release Official Lyric Video For ‘Beyond The Frail’ Track
March 22nd, 2021

Trollhättan, Sweden-based death metal band The Crown have released an official lyric video for the track ‘Beyond The Frail’, which can be viewed below.

Regarding the song, guitarist Marko Tervonen said: “I know we all go through shit and face our daily demons right?!? We know exactly what kind of persons we would prefer to be and we struggle every day to get there. In the end, we’re only human right. We are far beyond frail.”

The Crown issued tenth studio album proper Royal Destroyer on March 12th, 2021 through Metal Blade Records.

Royal Destroyer can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.

“It is our album number ten, so now we are in the big boys club,” commented bassist Magnus Olsfelt. “I think it in some ways is our crowning achievement, and it encompasses our sound across all albums on one defining record. It’s got it all – the early 90s death metal stuff, the haunting melodies, the thrash, the punk, the grind, the heavy metal and the more epic and doomy stuff.”

Royal Destroyer was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Fredrik Nordström. “We push ourselves to the limit, really trying to make everything as good as it can get, trying to make every song as impactful as possible,” Olsfelt stated. “We have some of the most intense stuff ever, like one song is about one minute long, and we also have a ballad!”
