TERAMAZE Release Eighth Studio Album ‘Sorella Minore’
May 11th, 2021

Melbourne, Australia-based progressive metal band Teramaze issued eighth full-length studio album Sorella Minore independently on May 11th, 2021 through Wells Music.

The 26-minute title track, ‘Sorella Minore’, is a sequel to the band’s October 2015 album Her Halo, and features guest contributions from former Teramaze vocalist Nathan Peachey, Vanishing Point frontman Silvio Massaro, and Divine Ascension singer Jennifer Borg.

Regarding the song, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Dean Wells commented: “‘Sorella Minore’ is the second instalment of the ‘Her Halo’ saga and it continues the tumultuous story of two sisters. Soon after her older sister’s death in a suspicious accident, the younger sister is kidnapped and locked away from the outside world. Held captive, in a desolate castle tower, her only company is the man who will decide her fate, The Tyrant. He tells her she will soon be forcibly betrothed to him by the foul beast he calls ‘father’. Her only hope is to convince The Tyrant to not be swayed by his father’s riches and power, to defy his demonic will and help her escape.”

Sorella Minore was recorded and mixed by Teramaze mainman Dean Wells at Wells Productions. Mastering duties also fell to Wells, with the exception of the title track which was handled by Joseph Carra at Crystal Mastering in Melbourne.

Cover artwork was designed by Fulton Hobbs.

The track listing is as follows:
