STORTREGN Make New Album ‘Impermanence’ Available For Streaming In Its Entirety

Geneva, Switzerland-based melodic blackened death metal band Stortregn issue fifth full-length studio album Impermanence on March 12th, 2021 through The Artisan Era.

Impermanence can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.

The band commented: “With a downpour of eight cosmic tracks, crafted with stellar riffs, thundering blast beats, and violence, we are ready to unleash our fifth studio album Impermanence onto the world!

“We’ve put our souls into this craft, exploring a wide range of musical influences and themes, all interconnected to create a paradigm of epicness. With this album, we managed to merge the contemporary tech-death sound and ideas with our older influences. Impermanence isn’t just a new studio album: it’s a face-melting sonic eruption! The storm is coming, you have been warned…”

The song ‘Cosmos Eater’ was co-written by former Stortregn live guitarist André Merlin, who also contributes a solo on the track. Meanwhile, singer Alessia Mercado provides guest vocals on the song ‘Ghosts Of The Past’.

Impermanence was recorded, mixed and mastered by Vladimir Cochet at Conatus Studios in Switzerland.

Cover artwork was created by Italian painter Paolo Girardi.

Directed by Vladimir Cochet, a music video was filmed for the track ‘Multilayered Chaos’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song ‘Cosmos Eater’. Both clips can be viewed below.

Fourth studio record Emptiness Fills the Void was released in May 2018 via Non Serviam Records.
