STASS Featuring CREMATORY And PAGANIZER Members: ‘The Darkside’ Debut To Be Released In September
July 1st, 2017

German-Swedish death metal group Stass issue debut full-length studio album The Darkside on September 15th, 2017 through Mighty Music.

Stass was formed after Crematory vocalist Felix Stass and Paganizer guitarist Rogga Johansson met at a Paganizer gig in Germany during 2012. Paganizer was in the midst of a mini-tour at that time, performing a gig in Ludwigshafen near Mannheim where Felix resides. Remaining in touch, Stass guested on the track ‘When Death Kills The Silence’; featured on February 2014 Megascavenger jaunt At The Plateaus Of Leng – their second overall. This all subsequently led to the thought of creating a whole full-length.

Fifteen tracks were written, recorded and produced by Demiurg bassist Johan Berglund, of which ten songs appear on The Darkside. The outing was recorded at The Rotpit in Gamleby, Sweden and at Empire Studios in Bensheim, Germany. Mixing and mastering was handled by Johan Berglund at MountainCove Studios.

The track listing is as follows;

01. ‘Warriors Land’
02. ‘Crawling From Ashes’
03. ‘The Final Disease’
04. ‘Forever Blind’
05. ‘Angel Of Doom’
06. ‘All Roads Lead To Hell’
07. ‘The Burning’
08. ‘Days Of Cremation’
09. ‘The New World Order’
10. ‘The Host’

Stass’ line-up is as follows;

Felix Stass (vocals, Crematory)
Rogga Johansson (guitars, Paganizer)
Kjetil Lynghaug (lead guitars, Paganizer)
Johan Berglund (bass, Demiurg)
