SKARLETT RIOT Release ‘Human’ Single
March 20th, 2020

North Lincolnshire, England-based melodic metal band Skarlett Riot issued digital single ‘Human’ on March 20th, 2020 via Despotz Records.

Regarding the lyrical content of the song, the band said: “Skarlett Riot’s brand new single ‘Human’ stresses the importance of respecting one another in all aspects of life. You don’t know the battles someone could be facing behind closed doors!”

An official music video for ‘Human’ can be viewed below.

‘Human’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming third full-length studio album Invicta, which is slated for issue in May 2021 through Despotz Records.

The outing will be the first Skarlett Riot album to feature new bassist Tim Chambers.

In addition, a Zardonic remix version of ‘Human’ was also released digitally on April 10th, 2020.

Speaking about the Zardonic remix, Skarlett Riot stated: “We’re excited to be working with Zardonic again. He did a great job of remixing for us previously so we were stoked to have him work on ‘Human’ with us this time round. We love this version. Have a listen!”

Zardonic (aka Federico Ágreda Álvarez) added: “Working with Despotz Records is a pleasure because everything they release is amazing, and Skarlett Riot is no exception. I am thrilled to be able to provide another remix for them.

“‘Human’ is a song that resonated with me on a very deep level. I think this is a message that we all need to remember. We’re all human, and we have nothing but ourselves to count on. Hopefully more artists will remind us of that value. I hope you enjoy this remix that I am giving you from the deepest of my human self”
