OPHIDIAN I Release Second Studio Album ‘Desolate’
July 16th, 2021

Icelandic technical death metal band Ophidian I issued second full-length studio album Desolate on July 16th, 2021 through Season Of Mist.

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.

Desolate was recorded at Sundlaugin Studio near Álafoss in the town of Mosfellsbær, Iceland, and produced by Daníel Máni Konráðsson. Stephen Lockhart engineered for the drums, while guitars, bass and vocals were engineered by Daníel Máni Konráðsson in collaboration with the band. Mixing and mastering was handled by Cryptopsy guitarist Christian Donaldson at The Grid, meanwhile.

Julian Parry provides guest vocals on the track ‘Dominion Eyes’.

Cover artwork was designed by Eliran Kantor.

Debut studio record Solvet Saeclum was released in June 2012 via SFC Records.
