OPETH Release 12th Studio Album ‘Sorceress’
September 30th, 2016

Stockholm, Sweden-based progressive rock / metal group Opeth issued 12th full-length studio album Sorceress on September 30th, 2016 through Moderbolaget / Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

The outing was once again recorded at Rockfield Studios near Monmouth in Wales.

Cover artwork duties fell to Travis Smith.

Opeth’s line-up is as follows;

Sorceress shifted roughly 16,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week of release, charting at position 24 on The Billboard 200. In addition, Sorceress charted in the following countries; Germany (#1), Finland (#3), Switzerland (#6), Sweden (#7), Australia (#7), Norway (#8), Austria (#10), UK (#11), The Netherlands (#11), Italy (#12), Belgium (#16), France (#25), and New Zealand (#28).

Official lyric videos were created for the title track and the songs ‘Will O The Wisp’, ‘The Wilde Flowers’ and ‘Era’. All four clips can be viewed below.

Eleventh studio record Pale Communion was released in August 2014.
