IHSAHN Makes ‘Crooked Red Line’ Track Available For Streaming

Notodden, Norway-based extreme metal vocalist Ihsahn, frontman of Emperor, has made the track ‘Crooked Red Line’ available for streaming through SoundCloud, which can be accessed below.

Ihsahn issues sixth solo full-length studio album Arktis. on April 8th, 2016 through Candlelight / Spinefarm Records. The effort was originally scheduled for release on March 4th.

Arktis. was recorded at Ihsahn’s studio in Notodden, Norway, and mixed in Sweden by Jens Bogren. Arktis features guest appearances from the following musicians; Einar Solberg (Leprous), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Jorgen Munkeby (Shining), Tobias Ornes Andersen (Shining / ex-Leprous), and renowned Norwegian author Hans Herbjornsrud.

The effort will be made available in standard CD, deluxe CD, and vinyl formats.

Inaugural single ‘Mass Darkness’ was released on December 18th, 2015. An official lyric video was created for the track by Michael Dickinson, the visuals inspired by late 1800s Norwegian explorer and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Fridtjof Nansen’s three-year expedition to the North Pole; first by ship, and then by foot over land. This can be viewed below.

Fifth solo studio record Das Seelenbrechen was released in October 2013.
