HIDEOUS DIVINITY Issue Visualizer Video For Cover Of COHEED AND CAMBRIA’s ‘Delirium Trigger’
April 23rd, 2021

Italian technical death metal band Hideous Divinity issued three-track EP LV-426 on April 23rd, 2021 through Century Media Records.

The concept of the EP is a sub-narrative of the 1986 film Aliens, directed by James Cameron and the second in the Alien franchise.

Hideous Divinity commented: “We chose to concentrate on the story of Rebeca ‘Newt’ Jorden, the six-year old girl rescued on the alien infested planetoid LV-426 by Ellen Ripley. We live the story from her point of view, a mixture of childhood’s happy life and memories cut off by the alien attack.”

Rounding out the EP is a cover interpretation of the track ‘Delirium Trigger’; written by Coheed And Cambria, its original rendition featured on March 2002 debut album The Second Stage Turbine Blade.

LV-426 was produced by Stefan Morabito at 16th Cellar Studio in Rome Italy.

Cover artwork duties fell to Colin Estrada.

The track listing is as follows;

01. ‘Acheron, Stream Of Woe’
02. ‘Chestburst’
03. ‘Delirium Trigger’

Hideous Divinity’s line-up is as follows;

Enrico “H.” Di Lorenzo (vocals)
Enrico Schettino (guitars)
Riccardo Benedini (guitars)
Stefano Franceschini (bass)
Giulio Galati (drums)

An official lyric video was created for the track ‘Acheron, Stream Of Woe’. In addition, official visualizer videos were released for the songs ‘Chestburst’ and the band’s cover of Coheed And Cambria’s ‘Delirium Trigger’. All three clips can be viewed below.

Fourth studio record Simulacrum was released in November 2019 via Century Media.
