February 1988

New York-based rock group Frehley’s Comet issued a five-track EP in February 1988 through Megaforce / Atlantic. Entitled Live+1, the EP featured four live cuts recorded on September 4th, 1987 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. The track listing was as follows;

01. ‘Rip It Out’ (originally from 1978 solo full-length Ace Frehley)
02. ‘Breakout’ (originally from 1987’s Frehley’s Comet)
03. ‘Something Moved’ (also originally from Frehley’s Comet)
04. ‘Rocket Ride’ (a Kiss tune originally from 1977’s Alive II)
05. ‘Words Are Not Enough’ (a studio track exclusively recorded for the EP)

A live rendition of ‘Calling To You’ (originally from Frehley’s Comet) was considered for inclusion, but ultimately wasn’t present. Occupying the drum stool on all tracks was Anton Fig, whose departure from Frehley’s Comet was announced in December 1987.
