Former FLYLEAF Frontwoman LACEY STURM Releases Debut Solo Studio Album ‘Life Screams’

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based hard rock vocalist Lacey Sturm, formerly of Flyleaf, issued debut solo full-length studio album Life Screams on February 12th, 2016 through Followspot Records, with distribution being handled by The Fuel Music.

Writing was handled by Sturm herself, as well as in collaboration with husband / guitarist Josh Sturm, Skillet’s Korey Cooper, and Grammy Award-winning writer and producer David Hodges.

Sturm was a member of Flyleaf from their 2002 conception until October 2012, having cut three studio records with the ensemble.

Inaugural single ‘Impossible’ was made available for purchase on November 6th, 2015, charting at position two on the iTunes Rock Top Songs chart. Sturm issued the following statement regarding the track: “I still have a fire in me to be a voice of love to people who feel unloved… For me, today is the beginning of new ways to live the impossible, and I have so much faith, hope and love in my soul.”
