FAITH NO MORE Unveil Music Video For ‘Cone Of Shame’ Track

San Francisco, California-based alternative rock group Faith No More have filmed a music video for the track ‘Cone Of Shame’. Directed by Gore Cvetanovski, the clip can be viewed below.

Faith No More issued seventh full-length studio album Sol Invictus on May 19th, 2015 through their newly formed imprint Reclamation Recordings, which is distributed by Ipecac Recordings.

Sol Invictus was recorded during 2014 in the band’s Oakland, California studio, with bassist Billy Gould handling production. The outing was mixed Matt Wallace, and mastered by Maor Appelbaum.

Faith No More’s line-up is as follows;

Inaugural single ‘Motherfucker’ was issued in vinyl format on November 28th, 2014 in conjunction with Record Store Day’s Black Friday event, the group performing a set at Amoeba Records in San Francisco, California the same day. Its B-side was a remix of the track by JG Thirlwell. Digital release occurred on December 9th.

Second single ‘Superhero’ was made available as a limited edition seven-inch vinyl single on March 17th, 2015, with digital release subsequently taking place on the 31st. Filmed on May 8th at The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan, a live video was filmed for the track.

A third single ‘Cone Of Shame’ will be released as a limited edition seven-inch vinyl single on November 25th.

In its first week of release, Sol Invictus sold roughly 31,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, landing at position 14 on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, the album charted in Australia (#2), Germany (#4), and the United Kingdom (#6).

A music video was filmed for the track ‘Separation Anxiety’ containing footage from the 1955 movie Dementia (also known as Daughter Of Horror). Directed by Joe Lynch, a second music video was filmed for the track ‘Sunny Side Up’, meanwhile. Both clips can be viewed below.

Sixth studio record Album Of The Year was released in June 1997.
