Richmond, Virginia-based thrash metal band Enforced issued second full-length studio album Kill Grid on March 12th, 2021 through Century Media Records.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘The Doctrine’
02. ‘UXO’
03. ‘Beneath Me’
04. ‘Malignance’
05. ‘Kill Grid’
06. ‘Curtain Fire’
07. ‘Hemorrhage’
08. ‘Blood Ribbon’
09. ‘Trespasser’

Enforced’s line-up is as follows:

Knox Colby (vocals)
Zach Monahan (guitars)
Will Wagstaff (guitars)
Ethan Gensurowsky (bass)
Alex Bishop (drums)

Directed and edited by Ethan Gensurowsky, a music video was released for the track ‘Malignance’. Also, a music video was filmed for the song ‘UXO’, that clip directed by J.D. Burrow.

Speaking about the song, vocalist Knox Colby said: “This song is lyrically self explanatory. It’s about the cluster bombing of Laos during the Vietnam War. The main focus of the lyrics are about the cultural impact that the unexploded ordnance (abbreviated UXO) has had over the last 50 years. Over 20,000 people have died accidentally from stepping on these bombs that are the size of a softball and scattered over the entire country, which is predominantly covered in dense jungle (last I checked, 35% of the country is still contaminated with UXO). It’s an issue the United States has only recently owned up to, but the government won’t apologize for; it’s shameful.”

Guitarist Will Wagstaff added: “When this song was written I was listening to two specific songs on repeat. ‘Dying’ by Obituary and ‘Corporal Jigsore Quandary’ by Carcass. Both tracks are just so driving with the double bass and grooviness and I wanted to try to write something somewhat in that vein.”

In addition, official visualizer videos were created for the songs ‘Hemorrhage’ and ‘Curtain Fire’. All four clips can also be viewed below.

Debut studio record At The Walls was released in July 2019 via War Records.
