CHILDREN OF BODOM Part Ways With Guitarist Roope Latvala

Espoo, Finland-based melodic death metal group Children Of Bodom parted ways with guitarist Roope Latvala, revealing this development on May 29th, 2015.
Children Of Bodom issued the following statement: “Our friend, brother, and a guitar player for 12 years, Roope, is no longer with the band. As we parted ways with no bad blood, we wish him nothing but the best and thank him for allowing us to share the last 12 years of our lives with him. We hope the fans know that this will not affect the upcoming shows or the new album as we recorded it as a four-piece and it is already mixed, mastered, heavy as shit and ready to go!”
Guitarist from 2003 until 2015, Latvala contributed to Children Of Bodom albums five through to eight, namely; Are You Dead Yet? (2005), Blooddrunk (2008), Relentless Reckless Forever (2011), and Halo Of Blood.
Eighth studio record Halo Of Blood was released in May 2013.
