There is a blackened thrash edge to proceedings as the creepy combo rattles off a batch of feisty compositions which come laced with atmospheric synth work and led by the vicious tirades of lead man Uncle Death.<\/p>\n<p>A majority of songs here are fast, aggressive affairs that have a vein of a d-beat kick running through them. Tracks such as \u2018Reign Of The Goblin King\u2019 employ more melody than most of the cryptic cuts on offer and that\u2019s down to the strong lead work. Strangely, in spite of the pace offered throughout, with the likes of \u2018Midnight Hour\u2019, \u2018Blackstone Keep\u2019 and \u2018Mausoleum\u2019 there remains a direct air of crispness and glossiness to proceedings and to an extent such clarity means that this opus never reaches the primitive or unorthodox nature showcased by acts such as, say, Devil Master.<\/p>\n<p>There is still a wicked and frenzied nature to this rabid beast, but there is variety too. The go-go surfin\u2019 hustle of namesake track \u2018Creepshow\u2019 and the thorny speeding \u2018Voodoo Magick\u2019 are prime cuts as is the foreboding \u2018Hexed By The Dead\u2019.
