SAINT DEAMON To Release Fourth Studio Album \u2018League Of The Serpent\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Swedish \/ Norwegian melodic power metal band Saint Deamon issue fourth full-length studio album League Of The Serpent<\/em> on April 21st, 2023 through AFM Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe songs have all their characteristic Saint Deamon trademarks as on our previous records,\u201d guitarist Toya Johansson commented. \u201cNew for this record is that we\u2019ve taken the rhythmic dimensions a step further than before. We didn\u2019t aim for a drastic change when it comes to this but wanted to develop our polyrhythmic thinking, which I hope can be heard on some of the songs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a fresh joint feeling of \u2018urge of renewal\u2019,\u201d bassist Nobby Noberg added. \u201cNot to break with the past just because of change, but trying to refine the essence of what we are and have come to be, and tweak the hell out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis album has been written in many ways similar to how we made our debut In Shadows Lost From The Brave<\/em> back then (2008),\u201d vocalist Jan Thore shared. \u201cThe songs are all new and fresh, no older song ideas have been used. The album consists of everything you can expect from Saint Deamon. Heavy, fast-paced, slow, powerful and melodic \u2013 it\u2019s all here. I really feel that what you hear on League Of The Serpent is the best version of Saint Deamon.\u201d<\/p>\n

As was the case with predecessor Ghost<\/em>, League Of The Serpent<\/em> was mixed by Oscar Nilsson at Crehate Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mastering was handled by Thomas \u201cPlec\u201d Johansson.<\/p>\n

Directed by Ted Lind\u00e9n, a music video was filmed for the track \u2018Load Your Cannons\u2019.<\/p>\n

In addition, an official lyric video was created for the track \u2018At Break Of Dawn\u2019. \u201c\u2018At Break Of Dawn\u2019 is the fourth song about Captain Saint Deamon and his crew,\u201d Saint Deamon commented. \u201cThis time while they were out pirating. A rival or enemy if you will – came to the captains home island to rob and destroy the captains town and the captain goes for revenge. The fights are happening while the town is on fire. In the end our captain takes back what was his.\u201d<\/p>\n

Third studio record Ghost<\/em> was released in September 2019 via Ram It Down Records.<\/p>\n
