TRIBULATION Issue Official Visualiser Video For \u2018Hemoclysm\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Swedish death metal band Tribulation have released an official visualiser video for the track \u2018Hemoclysm\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Tribulation issued four-track EP Hamartia<\/em> on April 7th, 2023 through Century Media Records.<\/p>\n

Hamartia<\/em> marks the recording debut of guitarist Joseph Tholl, replacing the departing Jonathan Hult\u00e9n.<\/p>\n

The EP was recorded in Stockholm with Robert Pehrsson at Studio Humbucker as well as Linus Bj\u00f6rklund at Studio Ryssviken, and subsequently mixed by Tom Dalgety in the UK. Mastering was handled by Magnus Lindberg at Redmount Studios in Stockholm.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe plan going forward is that Joseph and I will split the writing duties, just as me and Jonathan did before,\u201d said guitarist Adam Zaars. \u201cThe other difference this time is that we did work a bit closer with each other on these songs. On the last couple of albums, we\u2019ve basically written our material separately. This time, even though Joseph wrote \u2018Axis Mundi\u2019 and I wrote the other two songs, I still went to Stockholm every other weekend for the entire spring leading up to the recording, and we sat together and tried different things out. We\u2019ve worked closer this time than we\u2019ve done at least since The Children Of The Night<\/em> (2015). Comparing it to the last album, I\u2019d say the new songs are a bit more cynical, harsher in a way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rounding out the EP is a cover interpretation of the Blue \u00d6yster Cult track \u2018Vengeance (The Pact)\u2019, the original version of which featured on June 1981 album Fire Of Unknown Origin<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been meaning to do a Blue \u00d6yster Cult cover for over a decade now, and finally got around to doing it,\u201d Zaars said. \u201cThey\u2019ve been a constant source of inspiration throughout the years as they always seemed to find new creative ways of doing their thing, which is what we\u2019re always striving for. It will stand out a bit from what we usually do as anyone listening will find out soon enough!\u201d<\/p>\n

Directed by Johan B\u00e5\u00e5th in collaboration with Astrid Bergdahl, music videos were filmed for the title track and \u2018Axis Mundi\u2019. In addition, a stop motion music video was released for the band\u2019s cover of Blue \u00d6yster Cult\u2019s \u2018Vengeance (The Pact)\u2019. All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Where The Gloom Becomes Sound<\/em> was released in January 2021 via Century Media.<\/p>\n
