\nMak\u00f3, Hungary-based avant-garde metal project Thy Catafalque, spearheaded by multi-instrumentalist Tam\u00e1s K\u00e1tai, have made the track \u2018Testen t\u00fal\u2019 available for streaming via YouTube, which can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Tam\u00e1s K\u00e1tai commented: \u201cOur last single from Alf\u00f6ld<\/em> is \u2018Testen t\u00fal\u2019 with B\u00e1lint Bokodi on vocals who is part of our live incarnation as well. The song is fast, dark and hopeless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thy Catafalque issue tenth full-length studio album Alf\u00f6ld<\/em> on June 16th, 2023 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlf\u00f6ld<\/em> is the most straightforward and classic extreme metal album the project ever recorded,\u201d said Tam\u00e1s K\u00e1tai. \u201cThis time I just wanted to do metal without any innovation or progression, focusing on songs and riffs rather than experimenting and breaking new grounds. Had to let the old ideas out, so I did it with enjoyment. \u2018Alf\u00f6ld\u2019 means \u2018The Great Plains\u2019, a massive flat part of South-East Hungary where I was born and raised and we shot the video for \u2018N\u00e9ma vermek\u2019 in the middle of the barren lands, in Mak\u00f3-Bog\u00e1rz\u00f3.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alf\u00f6ld<\/em> was mixed by Tam\u00e1s K\u00e1tai in Budapest, Hungary, and mastered by Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n
