German power metal band Primal Fear have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Cancel Culture\u2019. Created by Ingo Sp\u00f6rl (Hard Media), the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, bassist Mat Sinner said: \u201cThere are countries where you just disappear if you speak your mind. These are intolerable conditions. But I\u2019m not backing down. I\u2019ve always been a rebel; I don\u2019t want to conform. And I don\u2019t have to play in certain countries either. It\u2019s that simple.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vocalist Ralf Scheepers added: \u201cThe way the culture of having discussions with each other has gone down the drain, has become unbearable. People tend to have no more respect for each other and that\u2019s a dangerous development and perspective. It\u2019s the same sad development with all these \u2018keyboard warriors\u2019 out there who hide behind a made up user name to release their hate, jealousy or frustration. I will never take this as a \u2018welcome to the internet\u2019 invitation, it\u2019s simply a NO GO!\u201d<\/p>\n

Primal Fear issue 14th full-length studio album Code Red<\/em> on September 1st, 2023 through Atomic Fire Records.<\/p>\n

Code Red<\/em> was recorded and mixed by Sebastian Roeder at Backyard Studios in Kempten, Germany. Mastering was handled by longtime collaborator Jacob Hansen at his own Hansen Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by Stan W. Decker, once again.<\/p>\n
