Here is the four-track debut EP from Indian thrashers Kasck, who immediately attracted by attention through the nostalgic cover artwork. However, the music contained herein certainly lives up to expectation as this trio literally blows the roof off with their snappy thrash.<\/p>\n

You won\u2019t find anything original here but if you like sneering, fast and effective thrash metal then I\u2019d suggest organising a mosh pit and slapping this on for your soundtrack. Vocally, guitarist Mayank Katare has an abrasive tone which just so happens to match his axe sound too, while next to him bassist Saurabh Lodha and drummer Saurabh Sharma construct further levels of rampant metal by bashing the crap out of their respective instruments.<\/p>\n

This is thrash metal for those who like the grating, reckless style of, say, Toxic Holocaust. It\u2019s serious thrash that chugs at the right moments and incinerates when you least expect it, or when you want it to. The clanking bass sounds like a bag of bones being shaken, the percussive whips cause severe lacerations and the vocals shred.<\/p>\n

Of course, you\u2019ll hear strands of classic San Francisco Bay Area thrash alongside Teutonic power and just about everything else, but you can\u2019t argue with a song such as the title track which hammers relentlessly, as does the familiar strains of \u2018Death To The Crooked\u2019.<\/p>\n

Give these guys a contract and I guarantee that a full-length outing will steamroll your brain, remove your spine and yet politically rearrange your thought process with its savagery and measured speed.<\/p>\n
