OVERKILL Launch Music Video For Title Track Of New Album \u2018Scorched\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

New Jersey-based thrash metal band Overkill have filmed a music video for the title track of their latest album Scorched<\/em>. Directed by David Brodsky for My Good Eye, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Overkill issued 20th full-length studio album Scorched<\/em><\/a> on April 14th, 2023 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

Mixing was handled by Colin Richardson and his assistant engineer Chris Clancy, while Johnny Rodd helped with producing vocals. Mastering was overseen by Maor Appelbaum.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by Travis Smith, once again.<\/p>\n

Overkill frontman Bobby \u2018Blitz\u2019 Ellsworth commented: \u201cMan, it seems like for F-in ever since we chatted!!!! Ha! I tell you what, this is the longest ever between Overkill releases, Feb \u201919 to April \u201923.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, it became my \u2018peterpandemic\u2019 go-to. I wrote my part, tore it down, then again and again. I found myself still changing parts while Colin was mixing! It became the normal in a very abnormal time, sanity amongst the insanity. Somewhere in Scorched<\/em> that is all reflected, a common thread, it is the place I went to get what I needed, maybe what \u2018we\u2019 needed. It\u2019s different, that\u2019s for sure, an old-school approach \/ mix in a modern world… was it worth the wait? You tell me… see ya on the road! Horns up!\u201d<\/p>\n

Scorched<\/em> was made available in the following formats; CD jewel, fluorescent green cassette (limited to 400 copies worldwide), longbox (limited to 1,000 copies worldwide) including the album in CD jewel format, a button and sticker, and finally double LP vinyl.<\/p>\n

Double LP versions of Scorched<\/em> were made available in the following colours; black, aztec gold (limited to 2,500 copies worldwide), fresh green (limited to 1,000 copies worldwide), and trans amber with fluorescent green.<\/p>\n

Official visualiser videos were created for the songs \u2018The Surgeon\u2019 and \u2018Wicked Place\u2019. Both clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Nineteenth studio album The Wings Of War<\/em> was released<\/a> in February 2019 via Nuclear Blast.<\/p>\n
