MEZZROW Premiere \u2018What Is Dead May Never Die\u2019 Music Video<\/strong><\/span>

Swedish thrash metal band Mezzrow have filmed a music video for the track \u2018What Is Dead May Never Die\u2019. Directed by Otto N\u00e4rhi, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Regarding the song, the band stated: \u201cThe most catchy one on the record and sometimes quite melodic for being a thrash metal song. The heavier part, halfway through, is definitely one of the best parts of the whole album! Lyrically inspired by Game Of Thrones \/ Melisandre and the religion of R\u2019hllor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mezzrow issued second full-length studio album Summon Thy Demons<\/em><\/a> on April 17th, 2023 through Fireflash Records, a subsidiary of Atomic Fire Records.<\/p>\n

Bassist Conny Wel\u00e9n commented: \u201cOf course we have a bit of a new and updated sound, more mature and dark, but it\u2019s still old school thrash metal from the Bay Area that lays the foundation. We refuse to downtune the guitars and you can definitely hear what Uffe sings! Some of the songs are actually a bit melodic, but in a thrashy kind of way. So don\u2019t worry, we don\u2019t do any ballads.\u201d<\/p>\n

Summon Thy Demons<\/em> was produced by band members Conny Wel\u00e9n, Ronnie Bj\u00f6rnstr\u00f6m and Magnus S\u00f6derman. Bj\u00f6rnstr\u00f6m was also responsible for mixing and mastering duties.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by P\u00e4r Olofsson.<\/p>\n

In addition, official lyric videos were released for the songs \u2018Through The Eyes Of The Ancient Gods\u2019 and \u2018Beneath The Sea Of Silence\u2019. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Debut studio record Then Came The Killing<\/em> was released in 1990 via Active Records.<\/p>\n
