Nodding to the first barbaric wave of nasty South American metal, the Belo Horizonte-based band continues its perverse pummelling by way of this 28 minute blitzkrieg.<\/p>\n<p><em>Blood, Violence &#038; Blasphemy<\/em> is an enjoyable romp through the abrasive and satanic side of black thrash which clogged our veins in the 80s and it\u2019s the work of vocalist Marcel Krusher, guitarist Bruno Nekrolucifer, bassist Alberth Desecrator and drummer Philippe Hellish. Imagine <a href=\"\/site\/slayer-articles\/\" target=\"_blank\">Slayer<\/a>\u2019s classic 1983 debut album <a href=\"\/site\/album-review-slayer-show-no-mercy\/\"><em>Show No Mercy<\/em><\/a> mashed together with Sarc\u00f3fago, old Sepultura and laced with some Teutonic fire and you\u2019ve got this speeding heap of apocalyptic noise.<\/p>\n<p>The titles are standard fare; \u2018Morbid Future\u2019, \u2018Evil Domain\u2019, \u2018Sorcery Rites\u2019, \u2018Born To Blasphemy\u2019 and \u2018Satanic Fire\u2019 just a few to name within the pile but all delivered with the same rusty and relentless speed, while 2020 single \u2018Try Suicide\u2019 also turns up nestled amongst the thorns and as despicable as the rest.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no variation as KrushHammer rattles away with youthful wildness and boasting a guitar sound recorded in a cave.
