Downpatrick, Northern Ireland-based hard rock band The Answer issued seventh full-length studio album Sundowners<\/em> on March 17th, 2023 through 7Hz Productions (ADA) in Europe, licensed from Golden Robot Records Pty. Golden Robot Records Pty directly handled release elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Sundowners<\/em> was recorded in April 2023 at Middlefarm Studios in Devon, England, and was mixed and produced by Dan Weller. The album marked the first time the band had been together in a studio since 2015.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been through a lot as a band, toured the world, made six great records we\u2019re all proud of, and always done our best to make honest and timeless music that connects with rock and music fans in general, \u201d frontman Cormac Neeson commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter six albums and a lot of road miles we felt we needed to step back from it all and reset. Whilst that wasn\u2019t an easy decision, with retrospect it\u2019s possibly the best decision we\u2019ve ever made because after seven years away we all came back fired up and the end result is an album we\u2019ve been waiting to make our whole lives… full of good time rock \u2018n\u2019 roll and positive energy created by four brothers who quite frankly just really missed each other. We\u2019re back and we\u2019re ready to bring our best album ever to you!\u201d<\/p>\n

Sundowners<\/em> was issued in the following formats: CD gatefold digi sleeve, gatefold 12-inch 180g black vinyl, two by 12-inch colour vinyl exclusives, a 12-inch fan collectible picture disc, digital, and various limited retail exclusive versions with HMV, Rough Trade, Crash and Assai Records.<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Blood Brother\u2019 and \u2018Livin\u2019 On The Line\u2019. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the songs \u2018Want You To Love Me\u2019 and \u2018Oh Cherry\u2019. All four clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Sixth studio record Solas<\/em> was released<\/a> in October 2016 via Napalm.<\/p>\n
