Swedish thrash metal band Mezzrow have signed an album contract with Fireflash Records, a subsidiary of Atomic Fire Records, revealing this development on October 17th, 2022.<\/p>\n

Mezzrow issued the following statement: \u201cThis is absolutely awesome! It\u2019s an honour to get signed to a totally new label with that kind of \u2018muscles\u2019. Markus Wosgien is a legend in the business and with his knowledge and experience, and with the backup power from Atomic Fire, this is without doubt the right decision for Mezzrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Markus Wosgien, owner and founder of Fireflash Records, added: \u201cJoacim Cans from HammerFall gave the guys the tip to contact me. I was surprised to read the name Mezzrow again after such a long time, my curiosity was aroused. When I heard their first five new tracks, they blew me away completely! We got in touch immediately and within a short time the right chemistry for a successful collaboration developed. Thrash metal fans can look forward to an absolute gem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mezzrow\u2019s line-up is as follows:<\/p>\n

Uffe Pettersson (vocals, ex-Rosicrucian)
\nConny Wel\u00e9n (bass, ex-Hexenhaus)
\nMagnus S\u00f6derman (guitars, Nightrage)
\nRonnie Bj\u00f6rnstr\u00f6m (guitars, ex-Defiatory \/ ex-Aeon)
\nJon Sk\u00e4re (drums, Defiatory \/ Hulkoff)<\/p>\n

Mezzrow is in the process of laying the finishing touches on their second full-length studio album, to be issued during spring 2023 through Fireflash Records. \u201cOf course we have a bit of a new and updated sound, more mature and dark, but it\u2019s still old school thrash metal from the Bay Area that lays the foundation,\u201d commented Conny Wel\u00e9n. \u201cWe refuse to downtune the guitars and you can definitely hear what Uffe sings! Some of the songs are actually a bit melodic, but in a thrashy kind of way. So don\u2019t worry, we don\u2019t do any ballads.\u201d<\/p>\n
