GORGATRON Release Lyric Video For Title Track Of New EP \u2018Agony Reborn\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Fargo, North Dakota-based death metal band Gorgatron have released an official lyric video for the title track of their forthcoming Agony Reborn<\/em> EP. Created by Axel Harvey Productions, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Gorgatron issue four-track EP Agony Reborn<\/em> on November 4th, 2022 in digital and cassette formats through Blood Blast Distribution. The cassette version is limited to 100 copies and also includes four exclusive live bonus tracks. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe were on track to do a bunch of touring etc to support our last album Pathogenic Automation<\/em> (live, 2020) but clearly and for obvious reasons that didn\u2019t happen\u2026,\u201d commented bassist Cameron Dewald. \u201cSo instead we stayed as busy as we could in 2020 and 2021, played a few shows and hashed out some new tunes. The cover for \u2018Dead Embyronic Cells\u2019 was originally for Metal Injection\u2019s Slay At Home<\/em> series, but we ended up holding onto it and found a suitable home for it on this EP.\u201d<\/p>\n

As referenced, included is a cover rendition of the track \u2018Dead Embryonic Cells\u2019. Written by Sepultura, its original version was featured on March 1991 album Arise<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Neal Stein performed on the EP, but is no longer with the band. Replacing him within the ranks is Coop Schuh.<\/p>\n
