CANDLEMASS Release Official Lyric Video For \u2018Angel Battle\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Stockholm, Sweden-based doom metal band Candlemass have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Angel Battle\u2019. Created by Costin Chiorenau (Twilight13media), the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Candlemass issued 13th full-length studio album Sweet Evil Sun<\/em><\/a> on November 18th, 2022 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

Bassist and songwriter Leif Edling commented: \u201cSweet Evil Sun<\/em> is about hope, striving, adoration and failure. It\u2019s about all the personal battles that you have, but also the never-ending decay of humanity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe record took over a year to make and there\u2019s not a bad track on it! We had a fantastic time recording it and are really looking forward to the release. It\u2019s doom, It’s metal! It is the essence of Candlemass put into one album!\u201d<\/p>\n

Sweet Evil Sun<\/em> was recorded at NOX Studio in Stockholm, Sweden with producer Marcus Jidell, who Edling was formerly bandmembers with in Avatarium. Avatarium frontwoman Jennie-Ann Smith, wife of Jidell, guests on the track \u2018When Death Sighs\u2019.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by Erik Rovanper\u00e4, responsible for such duties since 2012 outing Psalms For The Dead<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Twelfth studio record The Door To Doom<\/em> was released<\/a> in February 2019 via Napalm.<\/p>\n
