REVOCATION Launch New Music Video For \u2018Godforsaken\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Boston, Massachusetts-based death \/ thrash metal band Revocation have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Godforsaken\u2019. Directed by David Brodsky, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Revocation issued eighth full-length studio album Netherheaven<\/em> on September 9th, 2022 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re definitely in more of a death metal mindset than on earlier albums in our catalogue,\u201d commented frontman David Davidson. \u201cWe\u2019re focusing on how we can write the best death metal-centric album that we possibly can while still pushing our boundaries. The new songs on Netherheaven<\/em> are evil and sinister but also have a progressive element to them to keep things interesting. It\u2019s got our stamp on it, no question.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into the album. We want people to be inspired. It\u2019s brutal. We brought our A-game on Netherheaven<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netherheaven<\/em> was written during downtime after the album cycle for previous outing The Outer Ones<\/em> was complete. Written solely by Davidson, Netherheaven<\/em> was engineered and produced by the aforementioned at his newly built HeatWave Studios. Mixing and mastering was handled by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in \u00d6rebro, Sweden.<\/p>\n

The song \u2018Re-Crucified\u2019 features guest vocals from late The Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad and Cannibal Corpse\u2019s George \u201cCorpsegrinder\u201d Fisher.<\/p>\n

Netherheaven<\/em> was made available in the following vinyl colours; baby blue (\u201cElysium\u201d, US exclusive), fuego marbled (\u201cHellfire\u201d, US exclusive), 180g black (EU exclusive), white \/ blue marbled (limited to 1000 copies), sunset orange marbled (EU exclusive, limited to 300 copies), red with black splatter (EU exclusive, limited to 250 copies), clear with black and red splatter (EU exclusive, limited to 250 copies), and white with blue splatter (EU exclusive, limited to 250 copies).<\/p>\n

Directed by David Brodsky, music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Diabolical Majesty\u2019 and \u2018Nihilistic Violence\u2019. Both clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Seventh studio record The Outer Ones<\/em> was released<\/a> in September 2018 via Metal Blade.<\/p>\n
