LOST SOCIETY Launch Music Video For \u2018Awake\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Finland-based heavy metal band Lost Society have released a music video for the track \u2018Awake\u2019. Filmed and edited by Joona M\u00e4ki (Huuru Media), the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song and video, frontman Samy Elbanna said: \u201cWe wanted something haunting, yet beautiful for the video of \u2018Awake\u2019. Us together with the amazing Joona M\u00e4ki wanted to capture the intensity and the frailty of the lyrics, mixed with the powerful nature of the music – and I feel like we nailed it. The song is all about serenity in the destruction of something old and the creation of something new, and having the band in such a \u2018stripped down\u2019 setting really brings that through.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so easy to believe that once you spiral out of control, the only thing left is to hit rock bottom and never get up; but in fact, very often you just have to face that painful low in order for something new and beautiful to come to life. That\u2019s what \u2018Awake\u2019 is all about – the beauty in rebirth, and rising from what you were sure would be the death of hope.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis track features the incredible Budapest Art Orchestra, who helped us complete one of the most powerful and emotional songs we have ever released.\u201d <\/p>\n

Lost Society issued fifth full-length studio album If The Sky Came Down<\/em> on September 30th, 2022 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

If The Sky Came Down<\/em> was once again produced with co-writer Joonas Parkkonen, who Lost Society co-operated with on preceding effort No Absolution<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Mastering was handled by Svante Forsb\u00e4ck.<\/p>\n
