TERAMAZE Release Music Video For New Track \u2018For The Thrill\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Melbourne, Australia-based progressive metal band Teramaze have filmed a music video for the track \u2018For The Thrill\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, Teramaze mainman Dean Wells said: \u201cThis song came together super fast. We were throwing some riffs, keys and grooves back and forth as we usually do, and things just happened to click. After we\u2019d finished demoing it, me and the guys knew it would be one of the main singles for the next album… it just felt super fun and catchy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithout giving too much away, I wanted to write a song about standing your ground and backing your convictions, even if it makes you the scapegoat or a loner. Stick to your guns, without being too cheesy. As a band we like to write music from a place of hope, healing and self belief.\u201d<\/p>\n

Teramaze issue their tenth full-length studio album Flight Of The Wounded<\/em> independently on October 6th, 2022 through Wells Music. The outing can be pre-ordered here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dean Wells commented: \u201cFlight Of The Wounded<\/em> is our tenth album and is quite possibly our strongest body of work date. From start to finish, from track to track, there really is no filler.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike everything we\u2019ve ever released, on this album we have poured our everything into every song and left no stone unturned. I\u2019ve always been meticulous about getting the mixes perfect and finding the right guitar and synth sounds. As a band, we always strive to make every song sound as good as it possibly can.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis album will also be my fourth where I am the band\u2019s lead vocalist. I am always trying to one-up myself from one album to the next. I definitely tried a few new approaches to writing and singing that I hadn\u2019t on previous albums. I tried making my lyric deliveries as strong or as vulnerable as possible, as well as experimenting with the more gravely tones in my voice. I really pushed myself as a vocalist and I think the fans will not be disappointed. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis album is like nothing we\u2019ve release before. It\u2019s going to be a really challenging album to sing live, but we can\u2019t wait to actually tour this album, nationally and hopefully worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Flight Of The Wounded<\/em> was mixed by Dean Wells at Wells Productions, while mastering duties fell to Tony \u201cJack The Bear\u201d Mantz at Deluxe Mastering in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
